On Thursday 03 April 2025, sector partners were convened online for the School Sport and Activity Sector Partnership Spring Forum.

The Youth Sport Trust and Association for Physical Education (afPE) have welcomed the publication of the Curriculum and Assessment Review’s final report and the Government’s response to the recommendations, calling for today to turn the page on a new chapter for Physical Education (PE), school sport and play.

Since 2022, the Youth Sport Trust has hosted a week of free online webinars to support practitioners in creating inclusive school sport opportunities for young people with SEND.

Children and young people are more effective learners when they are happy, healthy, and thriving. Staff are better educators when they are genuinely supported. This award recognises a school or setting committed to prioritising wellbeing alongside academic achievement and demonstrate a holistic, impactful approach to student and staff wellbeing by embedding the four Well School pillars.

Awarded to a network leader who has influenced change in their area that has positively impacted on schools and young people through PE, sport and play.
