The 2025 theme is 'Power of cooperation: Strengthening links between sport clubs and schools in the field of sport, physical activity and health'. Youth Sport Trust International is a partner in the consortium which organises the event, led by the Hungarian School Sport Federation and which is funded by the European Commission.*
This year marks 30 years of the Youth Sport Trust, and National School Sports Week (NSSW) is calling on schools, families and organisations to get involved, host the UK’s biggest ever Sports Day, and champion 60 minutes** of PE, sport and play every day to help all young people be Always Active. NSSW takes place from 16 to 22 June 2025.
**20 minutes for young people with a disability or young people with SEND. NSSW is recognised as an associated event of ESSD.
