Virgin Money London Marathon

Support us at the most iconic marathon as our team of runners take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London.

Virtual London Marathon runners for YST in 2020

We have a full team of fantastic charity place runners who will be completing the London Marathon for us on Sunday 03 October 2021. However, we are always on the lookout for new Youth Sport Trust Champions to join #TeamYST and fundraise for our charity.

Now more than ever, we need your help. Every penny you raise will go towards ensuring children experience the life changing benefits from play and sport.

To be considered, we ask that you to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £2000, plus a £50 registration fee. If you are interested in finding out more please email [email protected].

I have my own ballot place

If you've secured your own ballot place and would like to run for us then we would absolutely love to have you with us on #TeamYST. You won't have a minimum to raise, we just ask that you raise as much as you can. If you are interested in joining us please email [email protected].

You can find out more about our wonderful runners below and why they have chosen to support our charity:

From non-runner to marathon runner in less than two years, Glen will complete a personal journey in April, as he trades using the Couch to 5k app for racing the streets of London.

A lifelong sport lover, Rebecca is passionate about sport's positive impact on mental and physical health. Now she wants to do her part to ensure that every child has the same opportunity.

After six year's of running experience, Tina tackles her first ever Marathon this April, ready to do her children proud. A lover of outdoor activities, this is another one off the bucket list.

After crediting sport for getting her through her teenage years, Katie is determined to show other young people the same positive impact, all by doing something she hates - running!

An experienced runner who once tackles 82 miles whilst competing in Equinox 24. He'll fulfil a lifelong dream by running in London this year, as well as fundraising for his local charity.

A Primary School PE teacher who knows the value of sport for mental and physical wellbeing. Lucy is also a hockey and netball player, as well as a one-time skydiver, and is keen to add the marathon to her list of accomplishments.
