Ultra-Marathon Trail Events and London Revolution Cycle Event

These epic award-winning challenges from Threshold Events will push your endurance to the limit and give you memories to last a lifetime in 2022, all whilst fundraising for Youth Sport Trust.

A minimum fundraising target of £450 applies to these events.

Please note that you are required to fundraise at least 50% of your target six weeks prior to the event and 100% of your overall fundraising target no later than four weeks after the event.

Race to the Castle (28-29 May 2022)

Race to the Castle

Location: Kirkhale, Newcastle, NE19 2PE – Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh, NE69 7DF
Distance: 100km
Registration: £40 (non stop) / £60 (weekender, inc. camping)
Minimum fundraising: £450

Head off from the start line into the hilly woodlands and stunning moorlands of the fames Northumberland National Park. Abundant with wildlife, see if you can spot the renowned red squirrel before following the trail along the River Coquet all the way to basecamp.

Carrying on your Ultra Marathon journey, you will soon hit the coastline which will accompany you for the rest of the day. Navigate the sandy trails before finishing in Bamburgh where celebrations and jubilation await you!

This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker – choose to camp over the weekend or take on 100km in one go.

Location: Hand Farm, Stroud, GL6 6JR – Broadway Tower, Broadway, WR12 7LB
Distance: 52 miles

From quaint idyllic villages to medieval burial grounds, the Cotswold Way will take you all the way to the foot of the magnificent Broadway Tower.

The highlights are endless, rich with 13th Century ruins and modern day film locations. The yellow, Jurassic Cotswold stone will pave the way, as you pass castles and the famous Cooper’s Hill en route.

This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker – choose to camp over the weekend or take on the full distance in one go. From sign up to the finish line, we will support you every step of the way along this incredible journey! With a completion rate of over 90% this is the perfect first ultra.

Wanna be a 100km heroine or hero? Join our award-winning Ultra Marathon and tackle the oldest path in Britain - the iconic Ridgeway. Walk, jog or run to the historic Avebury Stone Circle. From sign up to the finish line, we will support you every step of the way along this incredible journey!

With a completion rate of over 90% this is the perfect first ultra.

London Revolution event

Location: Lee Valley
Distance: 156.9 miles
Registration: £44 (non stop) / £64 (weekender, inc. camping)

Born as the UK’s greatest 2-day cycling weekend, London Revolution offers a choice to cycle the iconic 156.9-mile, 360° loop of the capital over a weekend, or all in one go. You’ll pedal through the heart of the City, passing all the sights before taking on the stunning North Downs, Thames Valley and the Chilterns.

This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, fitness and experience levels. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or a complete beginner – this is the perfect event for you.
