What’s involved: The programme uses tennis, and inspirational tennis mentors to help young people fulfil their potential, targeting students that are disengaged and need additional support to help raise their aspirations.

Schools identify a maximum of 25 young people to make up a project group, targeting students that are disengaged and need additional support to help raise their aspirations, through tennis. Supported by a Tennis Athlete Mentor, they will receive fun interactive training and organise a tennis project for other young people in their school or community (where possible creating a link with their local tennis club).

Outcomes: The Athlete Mentors (former and current professional tennis players), share their stories of how they achieved success, overcame challenges, teach tennis skills, and deliver classroom-based workshops that focus on employability skills (specifically personal, social, creative, and thinking skills) and support the development of the young people, inspiring and nurturing student aspirations.

For your school to take part in this programme you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Secondary school
• Based in England

Duration: This programme takes place between 02 March and 24 July 2026. The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 19 December 2025.
