London Marathon runners raise over £14,000 for Youth Sport Trust

The 11 runners who took part in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2015 for the Youth Sport Trust have now raised over £14,000, with more money still coming in.

The 11 runners who took part in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2015 for the Youth Sport Trust have now raised over £14,000, with more money still coming in.

All 11 completed the London Marathon and are still raising money for the charity.

Youth Sport Trust Fundraising Director Helen Vost said: "We are delighted with the effort and achievement of our 11 Virgin Money London Marathon 2015 runners.

"Not only did they all complete the 26.2 miles with flying colours but they have already raised over £14,000 for the Youth Sport Trust.

"That total is still rising and helps us enormously in our mission to build a brighter future for all young people through sport.

"Huge congratulations to our runners for their performance and a big thank you to their families, friends, employers and other supporters who helped them in their fundraising efforts."

A special mention also goes to Dominic Norrish, who ran the Paris Marathon for the Youth Sport Trust on April 12.
