For the first time schools in Pakistan will be taking part, introduced to ESSD by Jawaan Champions, Youth Sport Trust International's partner organisation based in Karachi. Jawaan Champions in a non-government organisation funded by the ZVMG Rangoonwala Trust, which is revolutionising physical education in Pakistan and currently focussing on underserved schools in Karachi.

First launched in 2015, ESSD is held annually as part of the European Week of Sport's BeActive campaign, which supports schools to make movement fun, inclusive and accessible.  ESSD has grown into a truly international movement, with more than 3.7 million students from over 40 countries taking part in 2025.
