UPDATES

YST Young Changemaker Awards

The Youth Sport Trust Young Changemaker Awards celebrate individuals and groups of young people who, working alongside Youth Sport Trust and Youth Sport Trust International over the past year, have made a real and impactful change to their lives and the lives of others.

The Changemaker Awards shine a light on the transformational power of PE, play, and sport to increase reliance, improve wellbeing, build belonging, and improve life chances often in spite of challenging circumstances. We need your help to celebrate those young people who deserve this recognition the most.

This year, the winner of each award, plus a guardian, will be invited to attend a star-studded red-carpet award ceremony in London in January 2024.

There are six award categories which are now open to nominations:

  • Young Health Champion
  • Inspirational Female Leader
  • Greatest Turnaround Through Sport
  • Inspiring Family
  • Young Activist
  • Inspirational Inclusive Leader

You can find out more about the criteria for each category on our website and nominations can be made here.

Nominations close on Tuesday 31 October 2023.

As in previous years, Rob Belbin has created Inclusive Health Check Reports for every county.

The PDFs can be found on the Lead Inclusion School Microsoft Teams channel on the files tab.

This term Rob will also be holding a webinar/drop in session for those who want to understand the report and make the most of the data. We will be releasing the date for this later this month.

If you are struggling to access the reports, please get in touch with Rebecca Tyers.
