NATIONAL SCHOOL SPORT WEEK 2018
National School Sport Week (NSSW) 2018 focused on schools ‘celebrating the role of play and sport in education’.
NSSW started in 2008, and last year, over 5,500 schools and 1.8 million pupils took part! You can see some of the social media highlights from 2018 here. If you would like to access the resources we developed with our partners last year then you can do so by clicking on the NSSW planning guide via the adjacent link.
Last year we worked with key partners to provide themes across early years, primary, secondary and special schools as follows:
- Early Years and Foundation Stage, Play to Develop in partnership with Entertainment One and PJ Masks. The first 500 registrations received stickers and wall charts.
- Primary, Active to Learn in partnership with the BBC and the Premier League to bring you Super Movers.
- Secondary, Fit to Achieve in partnership with The Football Association, women and girl’s participation.
The Football Association also have resources available to download across all age groups.
