YST Membership Networks
The Youth Sport Trust supports many networks of schools across England with membership solutions to enhance and extend their PE, school sport and physical activity provision for young people. A network of schools may be made up of schools working in partnership locally, regionally or nationally, such as Multi-Academy Trusts.
Networks of schools can be any group of schools working together, but examples may include:
- School Sport Partnerships or School Games Organiser networks
- Multi-Academy Trusts
- Teaching School Alliances
- Local school partnerships e.g. secondary school with primary feeder schools
- Local Authority networks
- County Sports Partnership networks
- Health and Wellbeing networks.
Membership provision for MATs or networks of schools is created to meet the individual needs of each network. Provision accessed may be the standard YST membership packages, or bespoke package content may be put together in discussion with the network of schools, made up of a range of YST products, services and solutions.
Through our team of Development Managers, we build an individual relationship with each network of schools, providing the necessary support to create the perfect membership package to meet the specific needs of the schools within each network.
Networks of schools working together are eligible to access additional free membership benefits (cluster benefits), depending on the level of investment made. For more information about Cluster Working please click here.

Cluster networking opportunities for coordinators from networks of schools are held twice a year. Coordinated by the Youth Sport Trust, these provide an opportunity for networks of schools to share good practice, hear political and policy updates from senior colleagues at the Youth Sport Trust and contribute to effective collective working.
