Leadership, Coaching and Volunteering Lead School Newsletter

January 2022

Introduction

Welcome to the January Newsletter.

Happy New Year! We hope that you had a lovely and restful festive period. In what we know has been a challenging return with Covid, isolation and an incredibly stretched staff capacity, what you continue to achieve during these times is incredible. We look forward to another great term of learning, sharing and activity across our network even during difficult times. We are here to help, so if you would like any support please do let us know.

In the meantime, you’ll find key actions, updates, and resources below.

ACTIONS

January Insight Community – Now Open!

The date for the completion of the Insight Community has been moved in January to allow us to move February out of half term. The Insight Community January window is now open and will close on the 19th close of play. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to this work. What we have captured so far is incredibly insightful and will aid us greatly in the planning for the network moving forwards.

Baseline Surveys

A reminder for all those taking part in the Girls as Coaches programme, please ensure your young coaches complete the baseline survey before your programme commences. This will help us measure impact on social, emotional, and physical wellbeing as we did last year. You’ll have received a unique link for your LCV so we can pull out the data specifically for your area at the end of the programme. If you are unable to find this link or don’t believe you have one, please contact Martin as soon as possible.

Termly Data Collection

Thank you for those who completed Termly Data Collection, if you didn’t complete the link for any reason and haven’t yet spoken to Steph, please reach out to discuss how your activity is moving along.

UPDATES

Informal Connect

The next informal connect will be taking place on 10 February from 15:30-16:30. Please do accept or decline the invite to give us a rough idea of who will be in attendance. A reminder that this is an optional session, so it isn’t compulsory to attend. The more that attend the greater the sharing of ideas so please do come ready to get involved.
