Wellbeing Survey

The wellbeing of children at school continues to be a top priority for parents with 2/3 of parents (64%) believe that the wellbeing of pupils is more important than their academic attainment.

Returning to School after COVID-19

In March 2020, schools closed their doors to the majority of their pupils and further restrictions were introduced in response to Covid-19. The aim of this report was to understand the current provision of both timetabled and extracurricular PE and any barriers to delivery, particularly in the light of ongoing Government guidelines and restrictions (e.g. maintaining class bubbles, cleaning and changing rules etc.), so that we can continue to support teachers and children during these challenging times.

Inclusion 2020

Inclusion 2020 aimed to increase and improve opportunities for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage and participate in physical education, physical activity and school sport. The project was funded by the Department of Education and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust (YST) between 1 January 2019 and 31 March 2020.
