YST Talent supports talented young athletes, coaches and officials to achieve their sporting and academic potential by achieving a balanced lifestyle of training, competitions, schoolwork, exams and family life.
The Youth Sport Trust has successfully delivered talent education and support programmes for over a decade to thousands of young athletes, coaches and officials, many of which have progressed to achieve at the highest level including performing at previous Olympic and Paralympic games.
YST Talent helps young people to balance their sporting commitments with their academic studies, to build the right support team and to ensure that they understand what it takes to be the very best.
The programme features three strands, depending on the needs of the young people:
The YST Talent e-learning platform features a catalogue of interactive modules, resources and activities designed to best support young athletes, coaches and officials and can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Delivered by highly trained tutors and experienced athletes who provide a unique insight into the world of performance sport, young people will receive advice and guidance that will help them on their journey to success.
Designed for parents of talented young people the Performance Parent e-learning platform provides parents with advice, guidance and further understand the world of performance sport and how they can support their child within it.
