The awards celebrate schools, groups of schools and individuals who, working alongside Youth Sport Trust over the past year, have made a real and impactful change to the lives of young people. 

The judging panels will use the following criteria when assessing entries. How the organisation/person has:

  • Through working alongside Youth Sport Trust has made a real and impactful change to the lives of young people
  • Used PE, sport or play to build healthier, happier and more resilient young people
  • Increased young people's involvement in PE, sport or play
  • Increased young people's enjoyment of PE, sport or play.

If your award entry is shortlisted:

  • A representative of your school/organisation will be required to attend an awards ceremony in Telford on 19 March 2024
  • You will be required to supply a short 45-60 second video of a young person from your school/organisation, with full permission from a parent or guardian, talking about why they think your school/organisation should win this award
  • You may also be required to take part in some on-site filming at your school/organisation, prior to the awards ceremony, to capture footage, which may then be incorporated into the ceremony and may also be shared with the media and on social media.

The Youth Sport Trust (YST) will be the data controller of the personal information submitted through this form. Our Privacy Notice, which can be accessed here www.youthsporttrust.org/privacy-policy, includes full details of how we will look after this data, information regarding your individual rights and contact details.

The information submitted through this form may be used for the following purposes: at the awards ceremony; for the purpose of administering the awards; and in YST promotions through online/printed literature and media activity (social media*/website/national media coverage).

*Please be aware that anything published on social media can be shared further than YST’s own social media channels and that YST have no control over this.

By submitting any personal data to us you are agreeing to the use of this information as set out above and in our Privacy Notice. For clarification, nominee(s)’ personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymised within 3 months of the awards ceremony.
