Supporting Girls with Autism

We are seeking expressions of interest from Lead Inclusion Schools to test the Supporting Girls with Autism toolkit in order to engage and empower girls on (or suspected to be on) the Autistic Spectrum into PE and school sport opportunities. 

Description

This will be a practice led, enquiry based approach considering delivery style as well as recommendations on resources/tools needed to increase young people’s voice. 

Schools will need to identify the challenges associated with engagement of young people and test and develop innovative solutions to address these to increase outcomes. There will be a focus on delivery of inclusive focus groups based on the ‘Focus on Me’’ Principles.
