Primary Schools

Children’s early years are critical in building the foundations, skills, engagement in and love of PE and school sport. We believe in giving young people the best possible sporting start in life.

We offer a wide range of resources, programmes, CPD and networking opportunities to both our member and non-member primary schools to help all schools provide the very best start to physical literacy, preparing children for secondary school.

Primary PE and Sport Premium

The Primary PE and Sport Premium provides ring fenced money to primary school headteachers to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils. The funding is currently worth £150 million per year and is provided jointly by the Department for Education, the Department of Health and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
