Aligned to the national curriculum for PE, the concept of physical literacy and character education, our blueprint offers schools a framework to support the vision, design and delivery of their PE offer. The blueprint considers the ‘educational diet’ that a young person should have within an effective PE programme, keeping physical activity and competencies at the heart of the subject, but explicitly including personal outcomes under the social, emotional and cognitive domains of learning, to support all learners to positively engage and thrive within PE.
