YST Conference 2023
The power of PE, sport and play to improve mental health
Awards Dinner - Wednesday 01 March
Conference - Thursday 02 March
Telford International Centre
Just this month, new data released by the NHS found that the number of children in England needing treatment for serious mental health problems has risen by 39% in a year and referrals have now alarmingly passed the 1 million mark. This generation has experienced major changes in their lives following the Covid-19 pandemic, on top of this, increased social inequality, online harm and the cost-of-living crisis are creating a ripple effect on young people’s school and home life.
Join us at the Youth Sport Trust Conference 2023, sponsored by Ortus Energy, as we take to the stage alongside experts from education, health, government, activists with lived experience, and specialists in their field to look at how together we can leverage the power of PE, sport and play to take urgent action to tackle this crisis.
The full conference agenda is packed with two keynote speeches, 12 bookable workshops, three live podcast recordings and a ‘big debate’ featuring education and policy heavyweights. You can view the full agenda details here.
Bookings are open now including bookings for specific workshops. Spaces are filling fast so don’t miss out. Be sure to book your place today.
On the eve of the Conference, we'll also be hosting our annual Awards Dinner.
