Two more stellar names have confirmed their attendance at the Youth Sport Trust 2015 Conference in Telford.
Dr Akeem Ali, Director of Public Health for Northamptonshire, and Melanie Howard, co-founder of the Future Foundation, will be taking to the stage at the Telford International Centre on February 4-5 to discuss the key issues facing the PE and school sport sector.
The attendance of both is a major boost for the conference given their stature and expertise.
Dr Akeem Ali is a leading expert in the health sector and will be using the conference to launch an exciting partnership between Northamptonshire County Council and the Youth Sport Trust.
Meanwhile Melanie Howard is a world leader in the field of future thinking and trend analysis.
She will discuss the groundbreaking work that her Future Foundation has conducted alongside the Youth Sport Trust to access the trends and opportunities facing the PE and school sport sector over the next 20 years.
The pair join the three high-profile names announced last month; leading author and speaker Kevin Carroll, Rugby Football Union Head of International Player Development Joe Lydon and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families, Edward Timpson MP.
All of the speakers will be supported by Youth Sport Trust Chair Baroness Sue Campbell as she oversees proceedings on the stage in Telford.
The conference itself will be particularly special because it marks the 20th anniversary of the charity.
The two day event will therefore be full of special celebrations – including a glittering Gala Dinner - and insightful looks ahead to the next two decades.
Simply put - the conference is an absolute MUST for all with an interest in PE and school sport sector.
