Youth Sport Trust welcomes the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s new strategy to get the nation active with one of four objectives focusing on youth sport within its overall mission to “create a vibrant sport and recreation sector which is fit for the future”.

Youth Sport Trust Chief Executive Alison Oliver says:

We are delighted that the Sport and Recreation Alliance has young people at the heart of its new strategy, something we believe is critical to a healthy nation and to improve young people’s future.

We look forward to working with them to strengthen wider understanding of the benefits of sport and physical activity on the wellbeing of young people and why increased research, funding and collaboration can help achieve significant change.
