The Youth Sport Trust has formed an exciting new partnership with Team Superschools (TSS) to help inspire young people to realise their full potential.

TSS is a fun, inspirational and exciting project that raises funds for primary schools using the power of sport. Owned by Olympic champions Jason Gardener and Darren Campbell, TSS sees international sports stars go into schools to meet with students. These TSS Athlete Ambassadors engage pupils by leading sponsored exercise sessions and having individual photographs taken to raise funds.

Over the past six years, almost 450,000 pupils have taken part in a TSS event with over £655,000 having been raised and retained for schools. With the Youth Sport Trust celebrating its 20th anniversary, TSS is looking to raise funds for the charity. Exactly 5% of the moneyraised retained by TSS will go directly to the Youth Sport Trust.

Youth Sport Trust External Relations Director Phil Chamberlain said: "We are excited to be partnering with Team Superschools. We know that elite athletes and their stories can really engage young people to help them build confidence and develop life skills so we fully support the work they are doing. We are also delighted that TSS will be donating 5% of the money they raise to the Youth Sport Trust. This fundraising drive will support our mission to build a brighter future for young people through PE and school sport."

TSS owner and Olympic champion Jason Gardener said: "We are thrilled to be partnering with the Youth Sport Trust. TSS is all about inspiring young people through sport and we know that is what the Youth Sport Trust is all about. We are really passionate about using sport to improve the lives of even more young people and that is why we are proud to be fundraising for the Youth Sport Trust on their 20th anniversary."

TSS is looking to work with schools in: Bedfordshire, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Dorset, East Sussex, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Herefordshire, Herts, Kent, Leicestershire, London, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Mids, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
