Can you take the fundraising challenge?

A new academic year is a fresh start, with many looking for a new challenge to take on. Maybe a night-time obstacle course race, the London Marathon, or a trek through one of the UK’s most breathtaking national parks sparks your interest? You can sign up for one of these challenges and raise money for the Youth Sport Trust. All of the money you raise goes towards helping us to build the foundations of movement within children and increase the positive impact that PE and sport have on attainment and academic achievement.

Take on The Twilight Run and challenge yourself over 5km or 10km as you pit yourself against extreme terrain on this hardcore mud run as you attempt to finish before nightfall. You will be tested to the max as you tackle manmade and natural obstacles which have been designed to deliver the ultimate running experience. Join Team YST today and receive 10% off the entry price (using discount code 10YST), as well as a Youth Sport Trust t-shirt to tackle the mud in on event day! Not ready to commit to an obstacle course race yet but want to see what all of the fuss is about and do your bit for charity? Volunteer at the event on 10th September and the Youth Sport Trust will receive a £25 donation.

The Virgin Money London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet, and we have a number of Golden Bond places available. The course follows an iconic route taking in many of London’s landmarks including Cutty Sark, Tower of London and Tower Bridge, before finishing at The Mall past Buckingham Palace. To apply for one of our Golden Bond places please complete our application form.

For cycling fans, Chief Executive, Ali Oliver and Chair of the Youth Sport Trust, Baroness Sue Campbell, are among a number of staff members taking part in the ICAP L’Etape London and raising money for the Youth Sport Trust. Ali is taking on the 117 mile long race and would really appreciate your support, to show your support please visit Ali’s JustGiving page and give what you can.
