The Youth Sport Trust National Talent Camp takes place sees 125 athletes, 125 coaches and 100 officials come together to participate in a unique multi-sport, multi-role, three dimensional camp, to increase individual aspiration and ambition, and develop empathy. Through the camp, young people are stretched and challenged to be ambitious and achieve their sporting best.
The camp forms part of our wider YST Talent work. Click here to learn more about that.
Working with National Governing Bodies of Sport, sports coach UK and Sports Officials UK, the camp, which is funded by Sport England, and presented by Loughborough University, offers our most promising young coaches, athletes and officials the opportunity to learn and share valuable experiences in their pursuit of sporting success.
The young people that will attend are selected by their National Governing Body of Sport (NGB) because of the talent they have shown and the commitment to develop. The ten NGBs who each have a range of young coaches, athletes, and officials representing them at the camp include baseball softball, basketball, boccia, cycling, football, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wheelchair basketball. To find out more about getting involved, please contact your NGB below:
