London Marathon 2020

YST London Marathon 2020
Support #TribeYST at the most iconic marathon as our team of 12 runners take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London.

On Friday 13 March 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon made the difficult decision to postpone the 40th annual race, scheduled to take place on Sunday 26 April. The postponed date will now be Sunday 04 October 2020. This decision was made due to the global pandemic of COVID-19 and public health being everyone’s priority.

We are delighted to announce that all 12 of our #TribeYST runners have chosen to run on the new date. We are currently working on offering them as much support as possible during this time of uncertainty with training guides, fundraising tips and lots of positivity. We hope that you will join in offering support to our runners if you know them or follow them on social media.

In 2020 we'll be celebrating the 25th Anniversary year for the Youth Sport Trust and we're excited to have a London Marathon team which represents everything that our charity means. So, if you are a parent, teacher, sport lover, or someone who really knows how the power of sport can change the lives of young people then please get behind one or more of our runners and help their fundraising efforts.

We are passionate about ensuring that all young people can benefit from the life changing benefits of play and sport – we know that our London Marathon #TribeYST 2020 team will be the best yet! Come and cheer them on and be proud of the charity you are supporting.
