Our 2022 Runners

Joe

Gibbons

I want to show my three daughters that anything is possible. If you work hard enough, put the work in and apply yourself, then you can do or be anything you want to be.

Jamie

Gray

YST are a fantastic organisation doing awesome things to improve the wellbeing of children and young adults through the concept of healthy body = healthy mind. I can't wait to take on this challenge to support them.

Glen

Harrington

With next to no experience, I started running to get fit in 2018, when I did the Couch to 5K programme. I caught the running bug and after completing the virtual London Marathon in 2020 I'm excited to finally do the real thing!

Ben

Jackson

I have always been a keen runner and the London Marathon has been on my bucket list for a long time. Having watched many previous editions and supported friends to do the race it's finally my turn!

Liam

Parker

I recently retired from football and I wanted a new challenge - this one has always been on my bucket list. Having worked in sport for several years I fully understand the positive impact it has on young people.

Simon

Robson

I've always believed in the power of sport. I'm taking on the London Marathon to give myself a goal to aim for and being able to raise money for such a good cause alongside it has proved great motivation.

Dylan

Salamon

My business, hasta World, is a partner of YST and we absolutely love the mission of using sport and exercise to support mental and physical health. I can think of no better way to raise money than through this challenge!

Alfred

Scaletta

I have completed over 70 marathons and I'm currently working towards completing the Abbot World Marathon Majors of Chicago, New York, Boston, Berlin, Tokyo, and London.

Patrick

Traylor

The London Marathon will be my 42nd event of the year - having never run a marathon before I will complete five this year as part of my Project 52. London is iconic and I can't wait to take part in the race.
