Jenny competed on the Professional Badminton World Circuit for 10 years, reaching number 5 in the World Rankings and winning 42 senior international caps – playing both mixed and ladies doubles. She has competed in 4 World and European Championships and the 2010 Commonwealth Games , winning Silver and Bronze medals and also 2 European Silver and Bronze medals. In addition she was crowned National Champion 5 times and won 13 international titles. As her love and determination for the sport grew it became increasingly harder to keep her off the badminton court. At 11 Jenny received her first call-up to play for the England Under 13s team– the start of a 7 year career that saw her competing all over the world.
She joined the Great Britain Squad and made her first England senior debut as part of the National Uber Cup team at 18, making her one of the youngest players to represent her country at senior level. But underneath the success, Jenny was suffering with a secret battle throughout her sporting career. From a young age she became very body conscious heightened by being in professional sport and began to suffer with Bulimia and after years of battling with a mental illness she decided to set up her own charity to support people suffering and their families.
