How did you get into sport?
Initially talent spotted by UKSport for Wheelchair Fencing ahead of London 2012. Moved to Cycling following taking part in LEGOG as an ambassador for PralympicsGB following London 2012.
What are your three biggest achievements in sport?
- World Championship Silver - 2018 Time Trial
- Ranked British Number One in two different sports
- Competing at London 2012 within two years of taking up Wheelchair Fencing.
When and why did you get involved with the Athlete Mentor programme?
Became involved following London 2012 as I believe the YST has important role in the lives of Young People which I believe my own journey is able to benefit.
Who most inspired you and why?
My Dad! His work ethic needed to look after a family of six with four squabbling kids is what I use to achieve results within sport.
What has been your favourite moment as a YST Athlete Mentor?
Getting to work in countless schools across the country as I have moved around with family life and training and seeing the benefits of various different programmes and the opportunities they provide to young people.
