Coronavirus Support for Parents

YST Support for Parents
In this section you will find a range of resources, including the 60 second active challenge series, to support those who still have children at home. The activities, resources and videos are designed to keep you moving, keep you learning and help support your physical, social and emotional wellbeing during lockdown.

We’ve made these free resources available to support you during this difficult time – we hope you find them helpful. Please adapt them to suit your home environment and the needs of your young people, considering the wider skills each activity is aimed to develop. General physical activity can also provide valuable, fun breaks in the day and support wider learning.

Emotional Wellbeing

Here you will find resources and videos to help support your child’s emotional wellbeing and resilience during lockdown and in preparation for returning to school.

Active in Mind

This programme offers support to young people experiencing mental wellbeing issues, using psycho-social tools and stress-busting strategies for young people - as well as creating innovative peer mentoring and physical activity opportunities.
