Active Maths Training
Active Maths is a one day practical course that uses PE and physical activity to raise achievement in maths. Through an active learning approach it demonstrates fun and engaging practical activities that will enthuse all children but also allows children to access an alternative learning style where they may find more traditional methods of learning maths more challenging. It is particularly suited for Maths Coordinators and teachers of KS1 and KS2 maths.
Following attendance at a face to face training session, delegates will receive practical teaching strategies alongside resource cards linked to Active Maths and an introduction to the Maths of the Day teaching programme. The format of this course provides numerous opportunities to share and develop ideas in collaboration with other teachers.
