Playground to Podium provides a framework for identifying and supporting disabled players and athletes who demonstrate potential in particular sports. Jointly developed with Youth Sport Trust, UK Sport, and Paralympics GB, the initiative plays an important part in Sport England’s wider goal of investing in community sport to create a world leading community sports system.
NATIONAL DELIVERY MANAGER
£36,604 - £41,260 London
You will work at senior level with key partners and take responsibility for the overall strategic management of the Playground to Podium Framework. Liaising with partner organisations via the National Steering Group, you will maximise their involvement with the programme, while also taking responsibility for managing and motivating a small team of Programme Managers and ensuring they deliver the parts of the programme for which they are responsible.
We are looking for the ability to manage both stakeholders and finances. A strong understanding of sport and sporting agencies is also important, along with the management skills to lead a high-performing team. Ref: 2PI080
