Creating sporting opportunities for all
Playground to Podium provides a framework for identifying and supporting disabled players and athletes who demonstrate potential in particular sports. Jointly developed with Youth Sport Trust, UK Sport, and Paralympics GB, the initiative plays an important part in Sport England’s wider goal of investing in community sport to create a world leading community sports system.

High-quality participation – and competitive opportunities – are what disabled athletes rightly demand. In this key role, you’ll lead the development of high quality pathways for talented performers, while co-ordinating the input of both national and regional partners.
You may currently be working in sports development or for a National Governing Body. Alternatively, you may be familiar with the disability sport environment. Whatever your precise background, you will need impressive project management skills and the confidence to act as an ambassador for Playground to Podium. Ref: 2PI081

These roles are offered on a one year fixed term contract in order to establish the playground to podium Framework.
