Competition Manager
Woodlands Sports College
Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2011
We are looking for a dynamic and committed PE / Sports Professional to implement a programme of school competition across both the East and West Coventry School Sport Partnerships. You will be based at Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire offices at Warwick University.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The post holder needs to be highly organised, able to prioritise and to manage a range of projects at any one time. You will link with key strategic partners and will ensure that the competition programme is linked to other strands of the PESSCL strategy and relevant national programmes.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have at least 2 years experience related to sports development or teaching. You will have knowledge and experience of school sport partnerships, PESSCL, sports development planning and project / event organisation.
