Partnerships and Collaborations Tuesday 4 December 2007
East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham
The Youth Sport Trust is delighted to announce the 2nd national conference for those delivering PE and Sport opportunities to young disabled people and Special Educational Needs pupils.
To ensure that all young disabled people and special educational needs pupils receive five hours high quality PE and sport opportunities no one agency can be responsible. The conference theme for this year is therefore based around developing partnerships and collaborations to ensure that this ambition can be realised. In particular the conference considers the contribution that special schools can make as leaders, innovators, and facilitators within the PE and Sport movement. The conference also provides an opportunity for mainstream schools with SEN pupils young disabled people and those responsible for delivering and facilitating community opportunities to further develop and extend their knowledge and share expertise.
