The annual conference for Sports Colleges will be held at the Telford International Conference Centre from 31 January – 1 February 2008. The conference - aimed at representatives from Sports Colleges, Academies with a specialism in sport, and Local Education Authorities - will bring together key post-holders working in and around Sports Colleges with a focus on headteachers, directors of specialism and subject leaders.
Entitled 'Different Perspectives: Different Possibilities”, the conference this year will examine the different ways we work both individually and collectively as part of our Sports College network to achieve personal and team success for all young people.
This year’s programme is divided into the following two strands:
Physical Education and School Sport
Whole School (Specialism Impact)
Delegates now have the choice of the full range of seminars, network learning conversations, keynotes and updates regardless of their role. This will also allow for you to attend sessions as an individual or as a school group if this helps with your learning.

Gala dinner tickets will be dealt with on a first come first served basis. Live video relay screens will be available in the hall but early booking will secure tables near the stage.
Successfully registered delegates will receive a confirmation email after submitting a booking. Invoices will be posted out separately.
