The equipment does not enhance muscle development but encourages children to participate in and safely enjoy regular cardiovascular activity. Olympic gold medallist Darren Campbell has recently joined forces with Gymkids as chief ambassador for the company’s new children’s fitness initiative – Fit Crew. The Fit Crew initiative is a health & fitness based project for children. Fit Crew will initially seek to launch nationwide fitness clubs, starting in ten of the most socially deprived areas in the UK. Darren will help to oversee a series of launches, educating, inspiring and taking children through the Gymkids programme. The clubs will be based around the Gymkids range, which includes steppers, treadmills and cycling machines has been designed to make fitness more fun for children.
