 Rock-It-Ball was launched in Feb 2006 and since then has had an immediate and massive impact in both primary and secondary schools all over the country. Allowing for success by player of all ages, abilities and most disabilities it has been instrumental in driving participation. Proven to be popular with all players it helps increase participation even amongst girls and disenfranchised youngsters. Teachers report a host of benefits including
• Perfect sport for implementation of Sport Education
• Increasing participation levels
• Teaching honesty in sport
• Giving an excellent work out
The growth of the sport continues to be rapid with the establishment of independent clubs, National Governing Bodies, an International Federation, a national league and local school leagues.
Now moving beyond schools Rock-It-Ball is making inroads into universities, prisons and the military and attracting increasing attention from abroad
