Welcome to the Classroom Quality Standards in Physical Education
This is an online self review tool for all teachers (from all phases) and their learners for Layer 2 of the Classroom Quality Standards for gifted and talented education specifically for physical education. This self review is intended to provide a flexible framework around which professionals can examine their practice and plan for improvement.
We hope that you will find this to be a really effective and useful tool to help you to evaluate your own and/or your department's approach to teaching and learning with the individual young people you meet every day.
Throughout the development of the CQS PE we have listened to feedback from teachers, LA Advisors, G&T consultants and the National Strategies Team, to ensure that the self review tool is part of the repertoire of an effective class teacher and reflects the current national agendas, so that it can be used in a beneficial way to enhance and impact upon teaching and learning in PE.

This is a simple process to record your details and particularly your role and type of school so that we are able to monitor the usage of the online self review tool. The only other detail we may use is your e-mail address to send you the latest developments in this area and to remind you to keep your review up to date.
