Sponsored runs and challenge events are a great way of supporting the work of the Youth Sport Trust, whilst getting fit and active at the same time.
We are delighted when people decide to make the Youth Sport Trust the benefiting charity of fundraising events, and very much appreciate all the support they provide.
Current supporters and events
In April 2009 Adrian Wells will take part in the fourth biannual ‘Polar Race’ – dubbed ‘the world’s toughest race’. Adrian will race for four weeks, across 400 miles of arctic tundra in temperatures of -40 degrees, pulling his 50kg of equipment and supplies on a sledge behind him. His target is to reach the North Pole and by doing so, he will become one of less than 400 people to have set foot on either Pole.
Adrian is hoping to use the race to raise money for the Youth Sport Trust :

Rory Edwards has supported the Youth Sport Trust through a number of events over the last few years in memory of his brother. This year Rory and three friends have chosen to take part in a Sky dive in aid of our work, as well as holding their annual memorial rugby match.
In 2007 Rory, along with his brother and two friends held a swimathon, swimming 27 miles in 12 hours, and also participated in the Cardiff Half-Marathon in two hours, three minutes and 52 seconds.
