Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week uses the power of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire more young people to take part in and understand the value of sport.
In 2009 more than 10,000 schools and three million children took part. Schools organised their own Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Torch Relays, inter and intra school competitions, pupils made Sports Pledges to take part in more sport and to try something new. So make sure you join Lloyds TSB and the Youth Sport Trust in this celebration of sport in 2010 and sign up now at www.schoolsportweek.org.
National School Sport Week in Scotland will be held 7 to 11 June 2010. Schools will be able to register from 8 February at: www.schoolsportweekscotland.org and will receive further communications through the Active Schools network.
