Sports Colleges Innovation Awards 2010
Gold medallist Darren Campbell is calling on schools to get their entries in for this year’s innovation awards which will be presented at the Youth Sport Trust’s Sports Colleges Conference in February.
With over 21 medals to his name, including Olympic Gold & Silver, Darren Campbell knows all about the power of sport:
“Sport has been such a powerful and positive driving force in my life, both on and off the track and I know it has the power to motivate all young people. The innovation awards are a great way of celebrating the hard work that is taking place in schools so get your entries in now to show what your school is doing to engage and excite young people through PE and school sport.”
This year’s awards will identify innovation and recognise good practice which can be showcased and used to support other schools in their delivery of PE and school sport.
Darren Campbell will be presenting the awards at the Sports Colleges Conference gala dinner on 10 February 2010. To be in with a chance of winning submit your case study application by 18 December 2009 via the link below.
The 2010 Innovations Awards are sponsored by PGL, School Trends, Technogym, London 2012, Sports Leaders UK and Arsenal in the Community.
