Win a school visit from a Paralympian
Thursday, 3 December 2009
To celebrate the 1,000 day countdown to the Paralympic Games, the Youth Sport Trust is asking you to tell us what you’re doing to inspire your pupils using 2012.
Your school could win a visit from one of our School Sport Ambassadors, Sascha Kindred. Since 1993, Sascha has been one of Great Britain's most successful Paralympic athletes, dominating in Breaststroke and Individual Medley.
Sascha will visit the winning school to see for himself the 2012 inspired activities that are taking place and participate in a Q&A with young people. He will also be on hand to share advice and tips on his Paralympic glory.
In his role as a School Sport Ambassador, Sascha promotes the benefits of sport and a healthy lifestyle to young people, visiting schools and sporting events across the country to support our initiatives and help increase young people’s enjoyment of sport.
Enter the competition via our 2012: Inspiring School Sport website. The first 100 entries will get entered into a prize draw.
