Each year we have 10 guaranteed places in the Flora London Marathon. Places are allocated to those who undertake to raise a minimum of £2,000 for the Youth Sport Trust. The 2009 Flora London Marathon takes place on Sunday, 26 April 2009.
The 2008 Flora London Marathon took place on Sunday, 13 April and despite some challenging weather over 34,000 runners successfully finished, including the following Youth Sport Trust Golden Bond runners: In 2007 eight runners challenged the gruelling 26 mile course on 22 April and raised over £19,000 for the development of youth sport. We would like to say a huge thank you for their support. Thinking of entering the 2009 Flora London Marathon? You could enter the public ballot and choose the Youth Sport Trust as your charity to support. Please be aware though, places for the public ballot are filling quickly.
