Over 14,000 schools and nearly 5 million pupils tried new Olympic and Paralympic sports at last year’s Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week, with many going on to join a sports club in or outside school, and 2011 is set to be even bigger and better.
As an Official Partner to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Lloyds TSB is giving primary schools registered and taking part in National School Sport Week, the chance to win tickets to the London 2012 Games for pupils and teachers.
Plus, as National Presenting Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, Lloyds TSB is giving pupils and teachers, from secondary schools registered and taking part in this year’s National School Sport Week, the chance to carry the Olympic Flame through their community in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
Schools that take part also benefit from a free teacher planning pack, available online now for registered schools (click here) providing everything needed to inspire young people and colleagues to take part.
This year’s National School Sport Week takes place from 27 June – 1 July.
