'School Sport Matters' - supported by The Daily Telegraph - is a campaign to highlight exemplary practice in PE and sport in schools. Nominations are being taken for this year’s awards with entries closing at midnight on 17 September 2010.

Teachers already using the tool say: 'the CQS layer 2 PE is a brilliant tool for self-review,' and 'I have seen improvements across all pupils,' after implementing an action plan designed using the tool.

The 2010 Young Ambassador Conferences will take place in the autumn term and are available to new Gold Ambassadors, one Platinum Ambassador and the adult responsible for the YA programme in each SSP.

School Sport Partnership Conference 2010
This year’s conference will take place from 13 to 14 October 2010 at The International Centre in Telford. With less than two years to go to London 2012, the conference will explore what further steps are needed to ensure we seize the opportunities presented by 2012.
