Darren CampbellSky Living For Sport Ambassador

Darren was a world class competitor in the 100m, the 200m and 4 x100m relay. Amongst his achievements, Darren has an Olympic silver medal from Sydney, a bronze medal in the 200m at Commonwealth Games in his hometown of Manchester and in the 2004 Olympics Darren was a member of the men’s 4 x 100m relay squad who took the gold medal beating the American team who were the favourites on the day.

Darren is the ambassador for Sky Living For Sport. This project targets young people aged 11 to 16 who are at risk of opting out of school life, either through poor attendance or lack of confidence.  Youngsters take part in diverse activities from sailing and archery through to martial arts and have the chance to meet and learn from a team of inspirational sporting mentors, led by Darren.
