Innovation Awards for Sports Colleges 2007

The annual Innovation Awards recognise new and exciting ideas being developed by sports colleges across the country with the aim of enhancing the delivery of PE and school sport. Sports Colleges are able to apply for a range of categories focusing on different areas of innovation and share their ideas across the network.

This year there are 6 Awards, each with a supporting partner (DCMS, BSkyB, Norwich Union, Sainsbury’s, PGL and School Trends) and some fantastic prizes. Each category recognises one winning school and one highly commended. There were almost 100 applications received across the six Awards this year, which are being further supported by Dame Kelly Holmes and Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson.

Richard Caborn presented the Minister for Sport Award.
