Young Ambassadors

Each year until 2012, School Sport Partnerships across England will recruit two young people to take on the role of Young Ambassador for two years.

Young Ambassador Britain

The Youth Sport Trust’s Young Ambassador Britain campaign is designed to show everyone through photography, just how much of a difference Young Ambassadors are making and how their work is having an impact on young people across the country and even around the world.

Young Ambassadors can enter the Young Ambassador Britain photo competition under four categories which are: YA-ing in your community, YA-ing with a star, YA-ing on mass and YA-ing to reflect the Olympic and Paralympic Values. Every term the best photo from each category will be announced on the Young Ambassador Britain website.

UK School Games

The UK School Games is a multi-sport event for the UK?s elite young athletes of school age.

The sports programme has been increased for 2009 to include a new sport, track cycling, which combined with the existing programme of Athletics, Badminton, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Swimming, Table Tennis and Volleyball brings the total to ten sports.

changingLIVES

ChangingLIVES is an athlete mentor scheme which brings world class sports performers into schools across the country to motivate and engage young people. With a host of Olympic, Paralympic, World and Commonwealth medals between them, the athlete mentors bring the excitement of their sporting successes to the classroom.

Resource ordering via Youth Sport Direct

Is the fundraising web shop for the Youth Sport Trust. It sells resources to schools and in particular to TOPS Programmes trainers. All revenue gained from sales on this website are fed back into Youth Sport Trust activity to support our core work.
