International Inspiration

International Inspiration uses the power of sport, high quality PE and play to transform the lives of millions of children and young people of all abilities in schools and communities across the world, particularly in developing countries. International Inspiration hopes to reach 12 million children in 20 countries by 2012.

UK Sport, in partnership with the British Council and UNICEF, lead in the delivery of the programme. When in the country, delivery is supported by the Youth Sport Trust and local implementing partners.

By developing school partnerships between the UK and overseas countries we've found that young people benefit by learning about and sharing experiences with their peers around the world. International Inspiration activities build confidence, self-esteem and the life skills of young people, helping and encouraging them to realise their ambition and full potential.

This is an example of the type of international work that the Youth Sport Trust is involved with. Make sure that you are a Youth Sport Trust member school as we will be offering new international opportunities to these schools first, with priority offered to premium members.
